Hello every one, i am new to this Forum, but i am not new to blue angels, i know blue angels about 5-7 years,and i practiced formation flying for 120 hours and crashed 40 times in it, its not my fault, some times my joystick gŒs out of control or some guys hit and i spin out of control. I applied to join this team and Can i know whats the IP of this team;s server? Hi guys.

I'm a member of a french virtual Ærobatic team on IL2 1946, the Blue Comets.

I'm here to invite you to watch us in live. How? We are doing our best to have the show available with streaming. And it should be ok!

If you are interested, the show is 20min length, + 5 for taxi. It will be a five ships formation airshow, and the plane used is the P40.
Actually, we made the show 2 weeks ago, but we had a lot of problems (mainly lags). So we decided to fly it again, and this time with streaming available for those who dont have IL2.

The latest ones available for my hardware... everything went fine except for losing some audio options. ()

Did you format when you installed Windows 7, or leave all of the old data on your hard drive? It's always better to format and install 'clean.'

I had 64bit XP and I didn't particularly notice a massive gain in FPS, but it was a positive difference. Hey Sawa, I switched from XP 64 and gained some. (Nothing spectacular.) Drivers are all the newest.

I did format the HD before installing W7.


After testing plenty of possibilities i think i came to an conclusion.

An change from Vista to W7 increases performance and gives you some fps.
An change from XP to W7 decreases performance and you have less fps.

If there is someone, who changed from XP to W7 and has no fps drop or even an increase, please tell me, how you did that.

@ Beaker, can you maybe ask around, from what they changed to W7?
That would help.

I know its a stretch but you could trying running a hard-disk de-fragment.

Also, make sure all your system drivers are current.

Did you upgrade to Win7 without re-formatting or re-installing software? Ok, i just finished some testing.

I left all LO settings the same. I set all Nvidia graphic settings(AA and such) to low and performance.

Only a change of ~2 fps. So i guess its not the graphics card.

I put all Nvidia graphic settings to my defaults (8 AA, 8 Anti strope and such) and set all LO graphic settings to low.

Fps increase of plenty. But still, the core, LO is using has an usage of 100 % all the time, while LO is running.

Im getting out of ideas, what i could try to get it running properly on W7.
